A new exhibition of fine art called "Meta-Universe" has opened in the Forte Kulanshi Art Space gallery in Nur-Sultan. Reported by TENGRINEWS.KZ.
Young artists from different cities of Kazakhstan presented 88 works of art. Among the works presented there are paintings, graphics, and sculptures by such authors as Aitzhamal Tastambekova, Almas Nurgozhaev, Anuar Shaimergenov, Aruay Tasmaganbetova, Askar Nurbolat, Darkhan Zhaimurziyev, Saulet Zhanibek, Stas Agapitov, Sofia Teider. The vision of each author is a whole universe of images and meanings, combined in one space they form a kind of "Meta-universe".
"There are very different artists represented here, both by nature and by character and style, but they are united, in my opinion, by an important sense of truthfulness to the world and their art," says Leila Mahat, chairman of the Curatorial Council of the Forte Kulanshi Art Space Center for Contemporary Art. "They don't allow falsehood or lies in it, which is why their work has such depth."
Anton Kim, director of marketing ForteBank — the main partner of the gallery Kulanshi Art Space, also shared his impression of the exhibition:
"Being here, we can feel our own strength, see how cool things we can do. And this perception can be transmitted to the road construction and courtyards. Art is important to believe in ourselves, to remember how strong we are in creating something,"- Anton Kim said.
The exhibition will be held until 20th of March at the Forte Kulanshi Art Space gallery located at Dostyk 8/1.
