The famous artist Saule Suleimenova opens the "new truth" in her personal exhibition "Biz karapayym halykpyz", the correspondent of Art of Her reports.

In her new solo exhibition, the artist broadcasts collective memory, the events of the modern history of Kazakhstan and the deconstruction of painting, continuing to work in the technique of "cellophane painting".

Interestingly, the packages for the exhibition "Biz karapayim halykpyz" were collected by residents of Almaty for several weeks, thus, the artist used materials with which we are all surrounded. Packages in the case of Suleimenova are an allegory that our life is cellophane.

"I am very pleased that people responded so much. I have a feeling that I have the support of a very large number of people with me all the time. A lot of people I didn't even know. This shows how strong our horizontal society is. The way we communicate with each other. This is about it," Saule Suleimenova said.

The exhibition includes works from the series "Kandastar", "Xinjiang purge", as well as the monumental canvas "Sky over Almaty. Kandy kantar". The latter became the central work of the entire exhibition.

"The image of the artist as a lonely incomprehensible genius is a thing of the past. Even following the example of the work "Sky over Almaty. Kandy kantar". This is the result of a huge number of people, their participation, their support, their material. People unite under the same hashtags – it's amazing. At this moment, the artist does not feel alone. I'm not flirting with the public, I'm telling, as far as possible, the truth, the new truth," the artist shared.

According to the artist, painting is changing reality right now, and the exhibition "Biz karapayim halykpyz" speaks about it.

"I want as many people as possible to come, I want them to understand that it is necessary to tell the truth. There is nothing dangerous in this," Saule Suleimenova said.
