The A. Kasteev State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosts a personal exhibition of the famous Kazakh artist Tabyldy Mukatov — "Across England", Art of Her reports with reference to the press service of the museum.
The exhibition includes more than 30 graphic works created by the author in the period from 2005 to 2014. As the name suggests, the exhibition is dedicated to the birthplace of W. Shakespeare — England, where the master created his works, working in the open air, conveying the uniqueness of the landscape of London and its surroundings. Tabyldy Mukatov with amazing ease manages to reflect the picture of the multifaceted life of a modern city, the appearance of the people inhabiting it, their way of life and, less often, work.
"The author makes aesthetically significant authentic, modern life in its naturalness, in all the richness and brilliance of its colors, capturing the visible world in its inherent constant variability, recreating the unity of man and his environment. The artist focuses on the transient moment of the continuous flow of life, as if accidentally caught by the eye," the letter from the museum's press service says.
The personal exhibition is dedicated to the 75th anniversary and the 50th anniversary of Tabyldy Mukatov's creative activity.
The artist was born in 1947 in the village of Orpa, Atyrau region. In 1968 he graduated from the N. Gogol Almaty Art College, and in 1973 from the I. Fedorov Lviv Polygraphic Institute. Mukatov was engaged in the design of books by such famous writers as M. Auezov, I. Dzhansugurov, S. Zhunusov and E. Hemingway. A unique edition of Makhambet Utemisov's poems, released specially for the 200th anniversary of the great poet, was awarded the UNESCO gold medal in 2003. Participant of republican and All-Union exhibitions, poster and book graphics exhibitions in Bulgaria. Currently lives and works in Almaty.
Tabylda Mukatov's exhibition "Across England" will last until September 11, 2022.
