My face: a new solo exhibition of the young artist Oralbek Kaboke

The National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan opened a personal exhibition "Beine" of Oralbek Kaboke, a member of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan and the creative association "Іzder", reports Art of Her.

The exhibition features about 90 works of the author, most of which are the result of creative search Oralbek Kaboke during 2022. The artist continues to reflect on themes of soul and body, the modern family institution, justice and the natural human nature.

"Beyne - is a face. It's my personal face in contemporary art. There are many psychological portraits in the exhibition, through which I wanted to show my inner state, to broadcast the state of people, the state of the people," said Oralbek Kaboke.

Interestingly, the artist is mentioned by many journalists as a creator who raises the lost spiritual values of the institution of the family. However, at the new solo exhibition, the heroes of Oralbek Kaboke's paintings are depicted with sad, pensive and suffering faces. These heroes, as a rule, in the works of the artist are mothers, fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers.

"I understand why the characters have such emotions. It's influenced by my personal and my family state. How I'm actually living right now. Honestly, I don't want to share that right now," the artist said candidly.

Oralbek Kaboke's works are imbued with love for his homeland, his own people and human psychology. He draws plots and meanings from the customs, everyday relations that originate from the depths of centuries. In his work the artist skillfully uses the rich color and original compositions.

"My exhibition is a different series and concepts. All my paintings are a masterpiece! If a person is broad-minded, he is sure to take something for himself. I hope that the viewer leaving the exhibition will be left with not just one impression, but with a large set of feelings and emotions," shared Oralbek Kaboke.

Oralbek Kaboke is a member of the Artists' Union of Kazakhstan and the "Іzder" creative association, which has his own unique handwriting. He has won prizes at numerous national and international exhibitions. In 2010 he won the Grand Prix at the International Festival of Arts among Kazakh youth abroad.
