Artists and bartenders continue to unite for a series of high-profile art parties in different parts of Almaty, reports the correspondent of Art of Her.
The art of painting and bar business have been combined for the third time. Artist Darkhan Rukholla and bartender Anastasia Valerieva encouraged the «ARALA» picnic guests to self-discover through the art of freedom and shamanism.
«The name «ARALA» means to communicate, exchange cultures (approx. ed. The party united the cultures of Armenia and Kazakhstan). Our concept is nature and communication. The viewer finds himself in a free, peaceful space, where all are on the same wave and exchange of energies mutually-beneficial», - said Darkhan Rukholla.
The artist presented 6 works, most of which are new abstract paintings and were not previously exhibited. It is worth mentioning that «Digital carpet», created from two portraits of a girl and a boy, stood out especially. In this artwork the artist reveals to the viewer the very meaning of «ARALA», which appeals for communication and cultural exchange.
A special atmosphere was created by unique cocktails from bartender Anastasia Valeryeva, that reiterated the spirit of freedom and shamanism.
“The combining of the two cultures of Armenia and Kazakhstan is happening here in art, cocktails, and the location itself. Anyone can visit this space; we are open to everyone. Guests can immerse themselves into master classes with artists, bartenders and musicians. In general, here we have arranged a chamber festival where you can express yourself as much as possible”, - said Anastasia Valeryeva.
One of the most interesting moments of the art party was the master class by Darkhan about abstract painting, where anyone could participate. There were also other master classes: bartenders taught the sacrament of creating shamanic cocktails, and ethno-musicians "The Sound of the Earth" shared their drumming skills.
«ARALA» is the third party in a series of four planned. The final event of artists and bartenders will be held in June.
