A new Almaty Theatre has opened in Almaty

В южной столице появился новый центр притяжения – мультифункциональное культурное пространство ALMATY THEATRE, передаёт Tengrinews.kz.

Появление нового театра – это грандиозное и желанное событие для жителей и гостей Алматы. Стоит отметить, что это первый подобный проект, построенный за последние 45 лет в городе.

The new multifunctional space with an auditorium for 700 seats and a stage complex is designed for any format of cultural events: from cult ballet performances and theatrical productions to grandiose enchanting shows, exhibitions and fashion events. It is here that the stars of the world stage will come, social events and fashionable brunches will be held here.

The ALMATY THEATRE and the choreography school operating under it open a new chapter in the history of the city's ballet art. Just imagine – sensual music, graceful movements and an incredible view from the panoramic windows of the ballet classroom. Not only future ballet dancers can study here, but also those who want to dance for themselves.

Another point of attraction is restaurants and coffee shops with stylish interiors and original lighting located in the theater, which will become a fashionable place for Almaty residents and guests of the city.

ALMATY THEATRE is surrounded by a park space of 8,400 m2. The author's landscape design, shady alleys and illuminated fountains are an ideal place for relaxation, walks and photo shoots.

The artists of the legendary Boris Eifman ballet will be the first to perform on the new stage with the cult productions "Anna Karenina" and "Rodin". Nurlan Konakbayev, the first deputy chairman of the Union of Choreographers of Kazakhstan and the organizer of the tour, has already appreciated the technical capabilities of the ALMATY THEATRE.

"We work with the stars of the world ballet, who set very strict requirements for the technical characteristics of the stage, lighting, acoustics and the theater as a whole. And if the Boris Eifman Ballet Troupe chose ALMATY THEATRE for its performance, which says a lot. There's a special scene here. It has a special professional coating "harlequin". It does not slip and promotes good rotation, and most importantly – increased cushioning minimizes the load on the joints of artists. Not every theater can boast of such an important and expensive pleasure," Nurlan Konokbayev shared his impressions.
