The YEMAA Center for Contemporary Culture in partnership with the Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia, the Chevron Company and the Infinity Plaza eco-park starts to accept applications for participation in the YEMAA Art Residence "Frontier. Atyrau Chronicles". The art residency will be held from 1 to 31 August 2022 for young artists from all over Kazakhstan from 20 to 35 years old. The organizers will cover all expenses for flights, accommodation, and meals.
Lecturers and mentors of the art residence:
Dmitry Morozov — Contemporary artist, researcher, winner of the Sergey Kuryokhin Prize (2013), Cube Prize (France, 2014)
Kulshat Medeuova — Doctor of Philosophy, Head of the Department of Philosophy of L.N. Gumilyov ENU, Nur-Sultan
Saule Dyusenbina — Contemporary artist. A collection of her works Kazakh funny games is presented in NFT.
Dias Adil is a composer, music producer from Atyrau.

Conditions of participation in YEMAA Artist Residence:
Applications are open to artists from all cities of Kazakhstan from 20 to 35 years old. To participate in the project, it is necessary to send the following documents by June 26 to the email address atyrauresidence.yemaa@gmail.com.
• Motivation letter explaining why you want to participate in the art residence (at least 150 words);
• CV reflecting professional experience and education (pdf);
• Portfolio (photos of works, sketches, etc.) as a zip file;
• Links to any mentions: materials in the media, blogs, personal pages in social networks
• Any additional information about hobbies, favorite movies, books, or travel experiences is welcome.
Applications for participation are accepted in Russian and Kazakh languages.
Selection results will be announced on July 1.
