Contemporary Art: How the Traditional Onermen Kezdesu Meeting Went

On October 27 as part of the JasStar festival, another traditional meeting with the readers of the Art of Her media portal "Onermen Kezdesu: Contemporary Art: Origins, Dialogues and NFT" took place.

A Date with Art (ed. Onermen Kezdesu from Kazakh) brought together over 40 representatives of Almaty's creative industries who came together for productive networking and sharing experiences with experts.

Co-founder of the media portal Alikhan Musatayev spoke on "Art of Her: how to become an art ambassador", in which he talked about the behind the scenes work of the editorial office and the strategic plan of the media portal 2022/2023.

"This is our fifth traditional meeting. The Art of Her Media Portal continues to bring together some of the country's top creative industry experts. It's cool that we can give people the opportunity to realize their creative ideas within Onermen Kezdesu," Alikhan Musatayev shared.

Curator Olga Veselova spoke in her speech about how we communicate through art and public dialogue. CITIX PR Director Leonid Nigmatullin and Ulia Kusherbaeva, head of the "Behind the Door" project, shared the story of the creation of a sensational art project in Almaty, "Behind the Door. The founder of SlonWork. Elin.app of Kazakhstan's NFT ART Store Yevgeniy Khobotov answered the most popular question of our time, "Is NFT a HYIP, art or future technology?".

Art historian Alexandra Kudryashova spoke about the origins of contemporary art.

"Such discussions can help a lot in the development of (ed. art) if they are held more often. The audience was small, but in general quite attentive and interested public", - said Alexandra Kudryashova.

As a reminder, the Art of Her media portal organizes traditional free meetings of Onermen Kezdesu with leading experts of Kazakhstan's creative industries for young artists, who exchange experiences and unite to realize their projects.
