Art of Her

The personal exhibition of photographer Nikita Basov will be held at the Abylkhan Kasteev Museum of Art. The curator of the exhibition is Aidarbek Aigerim, Master of Art History.

Nikita Basov in his works talks about real people, telling about their hard work and achievements. The idea of the exhibition is to show the uniqueness of professions. The viewer gets acquainted with portraits of people through the prism of their professional activities in order to understand what is the difference between these people.

The exhibition "Profession-..." by Nikita Basov reminds of the value of any activity. It is the act of choosing a person. After all, the word "profession" from Latin has the meaning "I declare my business".

Nikita Basov has been in his profession for 20 years. Since 2019, he has been photographing for NATGEOQAZ. He has worked at Olympiads and world championships in various sports. He has such awards as the winner of the "Best Sports Photographer 2012" award, the golden winner of the "Eurasian International Award" for significant contribution to the preservation and development of photo aesthetics in the culture of modern Eurasia, awarded the badge "For Merits in the development of culture and Art" of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly. Basov also participates in international photo exhibitions.

Admission fee:: adult — 500 kzt, student/pension — 300 kzt, school-kids — 200 Kzt.
