The installation Birge Öskende / Growing Together, created by the Dara Charitable Foundation and the Étage Studio, was opened at the Kasteev State Museum of Art, reports Art of Her.
The installation Birge Öskende/Growing Together is a space in which the earth, rock debris, stones and pebbles gradually give way to dense vegetation - living grasses and shrubs.
The new space in the museum turns into an exciting experience, which can be achieved gradually by engaging different senses.
The space of growth is the basis of the idea of the installation, which encapsulates such concepts as humanity, humanity and empowerment. Here the viewer loses the position of an outside observer, becoming an element of the overall composition, existing in unity with the space. Boundaries and limitations between the inner and outer world are blurred.
The installation was created in honor of the 15th anniversary of the Dara Foundation and is inspired by its philosophy: by planting the right seeds, everyone can observe their own growth and development.
The main aim of Birge Öskende / Growing Together is to draw attention to charity in general and make it a natural part of our lives. The organizers also said that soon they will announce the launch of the initiative "DOS", in which each citizen of Kazakhstan will be able to take part. It will give an opportunity to directly support people in need and promote social consciousness.
The exhibition of the installation will last till October 23, 2022.
