After the successful opening of Nastya Zharko's solo exhibition in Almaty "S.O.S EXHIBITION", the Art of Her media portal together with the artist organized an Artist Talk "Accessible Art" within the framework of traditional meetings "Onermen Kezdesy".
At a meeting with our readers, Nastya Zharko gave a lecture on the value of art, its development in Kazakhstan and art strategies. Any reader of the portal could take part in Artist Talk.
"Artist Talk was very cool. Such meetings are very important. In this case, Art of Her is the organizer, platform and educator of what is happening. Thanks to the media portal, not only those who have already attended the meeting will learn about such events, but also online," the artist said.
Nastya Zharko spoke in detail about the values of art, how to sell these values correctly, what strategies should be applied in practice and why it is important to talk about art from the point of view of awareness.
"The topics were different, the questions were also very different. The audience actively supported the topics of monetization and art strategy. This Talk turned out to be quite interesting and multifaceted," Nastya Zharko shared.
More than 20 listeners took part in Artist Talk.
"From the first meeting of Onermen Kezdesy, we realized that such meetings are needed. Our team constantly receives feedback from listeners that such meetings are very useful and important for the industry. In the future, the knowledge gained is applied in practice and helps artists develop," said Sabira Ospanova, editor–in-chief of Art of Her.
Nastya Zharko, despite her young age, has solid experience and confidently monetizes her art thanks to the right art strategy. The young artist started her career in 2013, and in 2015 she already held her first exhibition as part of the Astana Art Show. In total, the artist has 8 exhibitions on her account. The main theme of Nastya Zharko's creativity is awareness. The artist packs life situations into innocent images thanks to a special plastic language — "Hedvigs".
