Since 2013, every second Sunday of September in Kazakhstan is celebrated "Family Day". In honor of this holiday, the exhibition "Shezhire: values and traditions of the Kazakh family" will open on September 3 in the city gallery "Almaty Gallery", Art of Her reports.
The exhibition was organized by public figure, member of the NGO "Union of Fathers", entrepreneur, father of two children Alikhan Musatayev in partnership with the Ministry of Information and Public Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republican Public Association "Union of Fathers", the gallery "Almaty gallery", the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the media portal Art of Her.
The exhibition will feature more than 50 paintings by professional artists, members of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other associations: Umirbek Zhubaniyazov, Maxim Vedernikov, Azat Tabiyev, Evgeny Fridlin, Lidiya Drozdova, Salihitdin Aitbayev, Eduard Kazaryan, Alexander Sadvakasov, etc., reflecting the theme of childhood, family, love, home and comfort. All works are aimed at reviving moral values, raising the status of family and marriage.
The opening of the exhibition will take place on September 3 and will last until September 11.
As part of the exhibition, on September 11 at 14:00, the gallery will host the event "Onermen Kezdesy" or "Date with Art", where Olga Baturina, Professor of Art History, speaker of the Art Society, will give a lecture on the topic: "The image of the family in the visual Arts".

The gallery will be open from Tuesday to Sunday from 11:00 – 19.00.
