The debut exhibition of a young artist from Almaty Veronika Trishina — "I look out the window and see the sea" has opened at the State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after A. Kasteev, reports the correspondent of Art of Her.

The young artist invites the audience to go back to the winter sea time and think about life. The exhibition presents documentary photographs, digital collages, video essays and background audio accompaniment consisting notes of Veronika Trishina's diary . The exhibition acquires an immersive form by giving a new visual image to the exhibition hall "Periodika".

Veronika Trishina - a young artist from Almaty, studying the video art workshop in Moscow school named after Rodchenko.

The exhibition is organised within the framework of the Ümit project by Contemporary Culture Centre "Tselinny". The purpose of the program is to support young artists from Kazakhstan, identify new names and develop the local contemporary art environment.

The exhibition will be held until April 29 at A. Kasteev State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Admission fee:: adult — 500 kzt, student/pension — 300 kzt, school-kids — 200 Kzt.

Monday and the last day of each month are days off.
